Getting text messages from an iPhone to a computer can be done in several ways. The most straightforward solution could be a professional iPhone data transfer tool like EaseUS MobiMover. Connect your iPhone to the computer, launch EaseUS MobiMover, wait for it to load the text messages from your iPhone, then choose to download all or selected texts from the iOS device to the computer.

Go to the Messages app and click the conversation you want to download. Press and hold one of the texts and choose More. Now manually select the whole conversation and forward them via an email or message. By doing so, you can download an entire text conversation from your iPhone.

To download all texts from your iPhone quickly and safely, you should use EaseUS MobiMover. As an iOS content manager, it will detect and load all texts from your iPhone, and you can export these text messages from your iPhone to a computer all at once or selectively.

As you may know, although Apple provides iTunes and iCloud to back up iPhone on Windows or cloud storage, you cannot access, view, or extract text messages from the backup. Therefore, if you want to download text messages from an iPhone to a computer in a readable format, you will need third-party software or find some tricks to get it done.

The easiest way to save text messages on iPhone could be using an iPhone data transfer tool. Many third-party tools allow you to download text messages from an iPhone to a computer. Here I'd like to take one of them as an example.

Although there is no built-in "Export" feature to download iPhone text messages, you can apply a workaround to save text messages on your iPhone via the Message app. One of them is to export an entire text conversation on iPhone via email or message.

Step 3. Now select the other texts you'd like to copy. Afterward, click the "Forward" icon in the lower right corner. Enter a phone number or email address and click the "Send" button to download text messages from your iPhone via a message or email.

If you want to keep the original appearance of a text conversation, the best solution is to take screenshots of the text chain. However, this method is time-consuming if you have lots of messages to download. Thus, it is only recommended when you need to copy a small number of texts.

Thus, using an iOS content manager like EaseUS MobiMover is necessary for you to view iPhone messages on PC or download text messages from an iPhone directly. If you don't mind using workarounds, following one of the last two methods also helps to download text messages from an iPhone.

Lastly, the shortcut uses the UpdateKit shortcut to keep it up to date. It's not necessary, but it'll make your life easier if you encounter bugs or want to test out new features without having to download and add the shortcut again.

The first time you choose an option and run the shortcut, you'll be asked to grant it access to the Shortcuts app. You may also be asked if you want to download or use UpdateKit. If either notification appears, tap on "OK" to continue. If you don't use UpdateKit, you'll be notified to download it every time you use the shortcut, but you can edit the shortcut and delete all of the UpdateKit workflow to stop it. You could also use the "Change update settings" option to disable automatic checks.

The webpage option is actually just HTML text of the article. The first time you run AntiPaywall for a specific website, it will ask you for access to the site. Hit "OK," and it'll ask you if you want to download the article or not. "Yes!" will send it to the Files app, where you can save the HTML file in any directory. "Nope" will open the preview page on top of the Share sheet where you can read the full article. You can then share it or tap "Done" to go back to the Share sheet.

You can also just view the article in reader view by clicking the little icon on the left of the web address and select 'show reader view'. No need to download anything or save the article and open elsewhere!

The integrity check confirms that your ISO image was properly downloaded and that your local file is an exact copy of the file present on the download servers. An error during the download could result in a corrupted file and trigger random issues during the installation.

Bluish is completely right about this, you can't do it through Ajax because JavaScript cannot save files directly to a user's computer (out of security concerns). Unfortunately pointing the main window's URL at your file download means you have little control over what the user experience is when a file download occurs.

I created jQuery File Download which allows for an "Ajax like" experience with file downloads complete with OnSuccess and OnFailure callbacks to provide for a better user experience. Take a look at my blog post on the common problem that the plugin solves and some ways to use it and also a demo of jQuery File Download in action. Here is the source

In the above cases, you need to write the Content-Disposition header to the response, specifying that the file needs to be downloaded (attachment) and not opened by the browser (inline). You need to specify the Content Type too, and you may want to add the file name and length (to help the browser drawing a realistic progressbar).

If you want to open the file inside the browser, instead of downloading it, the Content-disposition must be set to inline, but the target can't be the current window location; you must target a new window created by javascript, an in the page, or a new window created on-the-fly with the "discussed" target="_blank":

What I and many others do is to create a link on the webpage, indicating that the target should be downloaded and putting the result of the http-request as the target. After that I append the link to the document than simply clicking the link and removing the link afterwards. You don't need an iframe anymore.

The interesting point is that this solution is only working with a "blob". As you can see in other answers, some are simply using a blob but not explaining why and how to create it.As you can read e.g. in the Mozilla developer documentation you need a file, media ressource or blob for the function "createObjectURL()" to work. The problem is that your http-response might not be any of those. Therefore the first thing you must do is to convert your response to a blob. This is what the first line does. Then you can use the "createObjectURL" with your newly created blob.If you than click the link your browser will open a file-save dialog and you can save your data. Obviously it s possible that you cannot define a fixed filename for your file to download. Then you must make your response more complex like in the answer from Luke. 041b061a72
